Dr. K.K. Sudevan, Principal of Sir Visvesvaraya Memorial Engineering College
Chincholi. Nasik is confered with “Salute to Greatness Award” by International Biographical
Centre, Cambridge, England. This award is in recognition of not only his outstanding
performance as a Professor & Principal but also considering his contribution in social uplift.
He is the founder of “Association for Social Relief and Uplift” (ASRU) and “Forum for International
Integration” under which he had started the “One Word One Nation Movement” and published a
book titled” One World One Nation” which was released by Ms. Sushmita Sen. He is also the
originator of “Grihadan Movement” under ASRU for which he donated many free houses to poor
people in Keralam.
This is the second Inter National award that Dr. Sudevan has received. Last year he had
received “The Man of The Year” award from American biographical Institute, Washington. He
has so for received six national awards at the hands of Forner Chief Election Commissioner G V
G Krishnamurthy, Maharashtra Education Minister Shri. Vasant Purke and others. Apart from
that he has published many technical papers in national and international conferences and
published technical books also.
Dr. Sudevan was invited by the International Biographical Center to attend and give a
talk on “One World Nation” during July 3 to 8 2007 at Washington. After he joined as Principal
at Sir Visvesvaraya Memorial Engineering College Chincholi, he received the Gold Medallion
and Certificate from Cambridge, England by post.
